Prep Time :

Cook Time :

Total Time :

  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 2 cups cauliflower
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups garbanzo beans
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 cup cilantro minced
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt

  1. In a skillet over medium heat add in 1/4 cup water, your cauliflower, onion, kale and carrots, cover and cook 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse your garbanzo beans and add them into your food processor chopping them into small bits (do not purée them). Then do the same with your vegetables once they are done cooking.
  3. In a large bowl mix together your chickpea flour, baking soda and spices and then add in your water, lemon juice, vegetables, cilantro and chickpeas.
  4. Roll falafel into balls and place on a non-stick griddle and bake until brown. If you don’t have a griddle, bake at 350F degrees for 15-20 minutes or until brown.

Bon Appetit!!

  1. Thank you for sharing!! Loved your video and new meal options. I seriously need to go back to following your eBook/recipes. I’ve gained weight not portion controlling and eating more vegan processed foods, instead of Whole Foods.

  2. Hi Hannah ! I am making these now in my air fryer! Just noticed though that you say baking powder in one spot and baking soda in another. I know they kinda do the same but does it matter?
    Thanks for the yummy recipes!
